Multi-talented William Powell shows he's also capable of voice acting - Here he plays a prisoner who escapes, but no matter what he tries he can't get rid of those darned handcuffs! It's a thriller (with many surprises) from Suspense. Paul Frees handles the announcing. This is another upload in excellent sound quality.

Powell did four episodes of Suspense, and you'll be able to find them all in my DICK POWELL & WILLIAM POWELL Playlist. As I've mentioned many times, I'm always looking for episodes with better sound quality. That's the case here, and the same for most of my recent uploads. In the world of "Old Time Radio," collectors are always discovering better copies of programs which makes them easier to restore and remaster. While my uploads from 2017 thru 2019 came from recordings restored in 2015, my latest uploads come from very recent audio upgrades released in January of this year. I'll continue to replace any of my older uploads when I find improved sound quality. Most of my uploads are in the best sound quality they'll ever be, and can't be noticably improved upon. I always appreciate your comments, and many thanks for listening to my uploads -
