You guys are insanely talented!! How did you become so good at what you do? It's so inspiring to me and it inspires me to try and learn an instrument whenever I watch your videos. Keep up the amazing work and can't wait for your next video!!

Wow what a lovely thing to say! We both studied music since we were kids and then studied at university (and the same for Rob) and so we've had many years to practise. Since starting our channel we've been blown away by the amazing response from people around the world and that helps inspire us to keep challenging ourselves to try different things. You should totally try to learn an instrument! It's such a cool journey. And the great thing about music is even if you start one instrument and then change to another, all the theory is the same, so it gets easier and easier to learn new instruments. Good luck with it and thanks for your kind words ❤

I don't know how many people pick up on the fact that there are 3 different parts, each being shared by 3 different people at different times (i.e. "person 1" plays a bit, then person 2 picks up and person 1 plays what person 3 was playing. Don't be confused...just watch and enjoy!....Unbelievably amazing!

I keep coming back to this video, and I'm impressed every time. The way you three keep repositioning yourselves between phrases is amazing! I keep waiting for someone to be late getting to their new position, and no one ever is late--you all make it to the right place just in time. I'm also impressed that you did this in Rossini's original key of E major. (And I love watching that occasional smile on Katherine's face--she looks like she's having the time of her life!)
@KaboomPercussion4 жыл бұрын
This was a very fun one to practise and film! The choreography makes it quite the challenge but that also adds to the fun. I’m glad you enjoy it enough to come back and watch it over again :D we had to do it in E major - got to aim for as close as we can to the real thing!

After watching a few dozen crazy videos of you guys playing buckets, PVC pipes and tensioned plastic bottles, you go and remind us that you’re capable of playing an “ordinary old” marimba. But seriously, the choreography seemed more difficult than the composition. Cheers!
