I noticed the Fur Master was using what looked to be an old Winchester Model 61 pump action .22, it had the desired grooved receiver, what a classic and my 61 is one of my favorite guns for ptarmigan and snowshoe hares….. I remember when I first moved to Gander Bay from Labrador some were surprised I would always drive with one hand...I would always tell them I grew up driving with one hand and a shotgun in the other lol! If you can't drive 20-30 kms/hr with a shotgun in one hand you won't get partridge in southern Labrador!

How is that vaccuum sealer with cod fish? I have a plain old food saver from costco, it works good on moose but the moisture in cod fish causes me some sealing issues. Great videos by the way, wish I could live in Labrador some times.
@Biglandtrapper9 ай бұрын
That’s the best thing about there chamber vacuum sealers’ they operate different so moisture on the fish don’t matter. Your type of sealer will draw the moisture to the edge so can’t seal, these pump the air out of the chamber, creates a vacuum in the chamber, then the bag is sealed under vacuum, then the air is allowed back into the chamber shrinking the bag around the fish…works great…
@jimf19649 ай бұрын
I’ve seen this hatchet before. I like the shape of the head, but it looks like the butt of the handle is too narrow. So that means you have to squeeze too much to keep a good grip, amd tire out your hand out when you hold at the end for chopping. You live in a great place. I wish I had access to hunting and fishing like that
