I might consider purchasing high visibility cordage, and using it as ridge line and tie outs for a tarp.

Glow sticks are fantastic if you are surf fishing 🎣. Attach one on the back of your head with a headlamp, that way if a wave 🌊 knocks you over friends can help if needed. Dave 😎☕️

the chalk is not a bad idea but I would rather have a orange or red fat crayon....chalk can wash away if it rains...the crayon wont...just a thought....

I watched the videos you did explaining the water, fire, and outdoor supply kits then I went over to there website and found the fishing/hunting one and brought them all with the exception of the outdoor supply one because I didn’t feel that it was worth it, I definitely will be purchasing this kit soon. Out of all the boss kits... this one is probably the worst. What good is paper and pencils if you are lost. Because if you're lost you probably don't know where you're going. And if you could draw a map then why don't you draw your map out of there. Just put a Sharpie in your pocket for $2. As far as their smoke device why the hell would they put one that you have to light and give you the world's crappiest matches? They have those smoke grenades with pull strings. And in a lot better colors than that. If I wanted a signal device and wanted to pay as much as they want you to pay for this kit I would get a bear banger starter kit set comes with a couple of aerial flares and a couple of their bangers. Which would be good to have because of the noise to help people locate you oh, and also so you don't get ate while you're lost. You can buy that ribbon pretty cheap and I'm not really sure what reflective stuff is going to do for a lost person other than show where you had been earlier... hell I can tell you where you have been earlier, first you were home then you got out of the car probably parked in a parking lot for by the road. After that who cares what tree you were standing by hours before because your ass is lost now. I'm sure you're leaving muddy footprints and if you have a pocket knife you can cut a notch in the tree. The only thing you would have to go out of your way to get would be the dye for the water... and I'm wondering that since you say it is dangerous to get in your eyes and on your skin if it should be released in an area with wildlife. I'm not really sure I could help you be found unless you were floating at sea and if you were at Sea I doubt you would have access to it.. and I'm sure you can buy it separate somewhere. Maybe instead of their smoke grenade they could include a few packets of that powder stuff you put on a campfire to make it turn different colors and or produce smoke.. since there's not much difference from using those safer matches and creating a campfire if you go that far you might as well go the whole way since they were too cheap to spring for a wire pull smoke grenade. Hell take you a a few shredded pieces of a car tire. Then you can start your campfire and throw a few pieces on. That makes hell of a smoke cloud.-just saying I like the fire and fishing / hunting kit a lot better
