@@buzzbuzzer581 You do not understand the islamist mindset or comprehend that those with such a mindset literally mean what they say. Please stop mapping your own cultural norms onto the Middle East. This isn't about "race" in the way you think it is; you are projecting this onto the situation. If you don't understand what I'm talking about, I think there is a very large body of knowledge that you don't know that you don't know. All wars are terrible, but not every war is tantamount to a G.

Am I required to be naive and cognitively blind to the group affiliations of those who are attempting to wage war against me? Your thinking is incredibly naïve and glosses over the very real and very true reality of how people behave in the Middle East. This is not San Francisco, and although it would be nice if we could all just preach peace and harmony and get along, that is simply not going to work here. You sound like you may be very young. Look, the ugly truth is that virtue signaling do you no good when the other guy is attempting to kill you and doesn't think like you do. You need to understand that when these people talk about religion, they literally mean it. Once you examine what they actually believe and you actually listen to what they are saying, it will scare the daylights out of you. It is very sad, and the world is a very cruel place, but being a housecat in a den of wolves makes you both morally righteous AND dead. This is the reality, and you are not coming to grips with it.

@@buzzbuzzer581 Are all wars tantamount to the G word? If someone is trying to shoot rockets at me, do I need to worry about "othering" them while they do so? You are glossing over the actual belief system of Islamists. They do not think like you do and their value system is not the same as yours. I can't say much more or else my comment will be censored, which is a shame because it means that the truth is unable to be expressed if it's unpleasant. The truth IS unpleasant.
