The sound chip used in all Williams pinball machines prior to DCS was the Yamaha YM 2151, which was also used in various arcade hardware like Capcom’s CPS-1

That’s because it (sorta) was. The soundboards in these Bally/Williams games all used a nearly identical Yamaha FM sound chip that was also used by the Genesis.

I have yet to play the actual pinball table. Playing through the Gamecube Pinball Hall of Fame (Williams Collection) is fun, but not has fun as the real FunHouse. Still man, I LOVE the soundtrack!
