Thank you Kevin for this weeks video. That Kia Ceed teardown was something for the books. Do you ever feel when your done with a teardown that OMG, I have to put all this back again? I got reminded of a machine Ljungby L18 I had to replace the gearbox on many years ago. Had to do it in the middle of the winter on the backyard of a rockcruching site. Still remember that empty feeling when I knew I had to put everything I took off back and get it to work. One of the toughest machines I ever worked on and one that I said, never again outside in wintertime with nothing but a smaller volvo L50 to lift off the cabin and motor to even get the first bolt off. Hope you have a great weeend. Regards from Sweden.

Many were the times I thought changing carreer but ended up waking up to another day with some machine somewhere far from home. But it paied for my family and kids. That blue Ford Mondeo ST was very nice ... timeless design and pretty. Also, these cars from more than 15 years ago are way better built, the layout of the different components make them not hard to dismantle, unlike the new washing machines on 4 wheels which are just badly crammed and not well thought out.

coffee at hand for another great video. I know you're busy no worries if I don't get a reply but having watched you're videos I decent to attempt to change the clutch master on a vauxhall insignia, except the white clip that goes into the pedal it wasn't bad. However, the retaining spring in the engine bay where the master plug into a long black connector keeps popping out under load. The pedal is fine, an expert at bleeding these now done it about 15 times now lol. Now the groove in the master does seem to line up slightly off. A mate (mechanic) did mess about with a seal I think. I posted on another video about this specific job (master cylinder and said it could the seal isn't in right or even the old seal is still in but I didn't even see a seal on the new master. Now when bleeding flow is pretty poor so maybe the seal is even restricting flow if not fitted right. So I thought I would go to scrappies and pull the entire pipe this connector is on, it looks like it goes into a silver box with multiple pipes going into it. If I remove the pipe from there will that affect the brakes (looks like brake lines go into this silver box). I am just wondering if the black long connector the master goes into is removable (and how) without replacing the pipe. I'll get there eventually and it seems like something basic. Anyway thanks for your videos regardless, cheers

@WMCS4 ай бұрын
Hey Taylor .. no I haven’t not got a box back in. There’s been instances in the past where it’s gone in with some tears rolling down .. but they’ve alway gone back in… If you’re just heading down the clutch route my advice is to start off with someone .. there’s plenty of meat on the bone to give a day’s labour. One can work top deck and one can work undercarriage.. you won’t ever be in each other’s way you can halve the time and get two jobs in a day .. once you’re confident enough then take it from there.. hope that helps .

Love the videos by the way I feel your pain watching when it’s pouring down but you get it done 👌🏼 Definitely will start with a mate as you say im only 73kg but fairly strong for my size. It is just the being on the floor part 😂 When watching you it seems like you throw them in with no trouble 😂
