so strange that this life we think we're living :~)) has its twists and turns....I seem to have had to venture off and return to this teaching!! It's sinking in deeper now....Amazing that this humble man from Alabama is relatively obscure....he's on a par with the greatest of spiritual teachers

It is wonderful that you found your way back to William's teaching. That is your Child Heart leading you aright. The tenderness of the Child is with you and you are correct, he is a true master among the spiritual teachers. So honest so real, unpretentious, humble - he truely Lives It. You are very fortunate because I know you are finding It and Living This the Child You Are - It is Real and when we find, fully embracing It, we come alive again in Joy of Knowing and now, Knowing we knowing. This Heart of us Understands and Lives the Unbound Joy of Being It. Thank you for your comments so bright with the joy of pure childlike delight.

Wonderful to hear this truth. It reminds me a lot of the early Christianity in China in the 600's, which is encoded on the nestorian monument. It is taoistic Christianity and Bill had exactly that, a taoist master. When persecution came later, this faith went underground but survived to our times in China.

Thank you for your wonderful insight about William's work. You are quite correct about his message. I very much appreciate that you recognize this wisdom and light in that which William shares.

I was into the cult of TM. I say cult because asking questions, doubting in any way was discouraged. After a few years I left with what I still valued. Asking questions is....being alive!

Thank you John for your comment. One of the most beautiful things about William's work is that he really does bring us to the Joyful Love of Living and Being alive, curious and eager to discover for ourself this Unbound, uninhibited holy Child of our self. 💕.

when he's using the term "overtones", I at first thought he meant past conditioning, but that seems not to be the case; rather, "overtones" are the unique way that Spirit expresses Itself through us? even though there's only One Awareness.... (I can deal with that seeming paradox, LOL)

The 'overtone' is what we hear and feel that is greater than the words alone. The overtone is the synergism that happens when the words, the tone, the sound, the feeling, the things we understand and the things we don't --all come together to 'create' a 'sound' we hear in our own heart, a feeling we feel that is more than the words alone - Like when we listen to music, we don't just listen to the notes and chords but we "feel' the entirety of the song - the music has a bunch of parts but it is the 'overtone' that really touches us or moves us. In order to really understand the words, we need more than the words, but through the synergism his strange stories, his repetition, his softness, his laughter, his roughness, his humor, his tears. All of it creates an overtone that will touch us in our own way that makes it really ours, we got it. He is saying he uses 'overtones' so that we might hear what he is sharing with us, hear it deeply in our heart - his 'communication' with us is not just intellectual, not a 'teaching' - but when we really hear the whole sound, then we hear Something Greater, deeply, truly in our own heart soul - It is ours - "overtone" might be what we call the "Aha" I got it feeling - and then we know and know we know - we really heard it, we are changed, we feel the Joy, we feel the 'Whole Song' and want to dance to the Joy of it - Overtones 'move' us, touch us, its a feeling we can't even find the words for -but we know what IT is - 😊 💕
