You know, the easiest way to at least resolve the short ammo situation would be to get those DLC proximity mine launchers, launch and deactivate the mines without touching or getting to them, and pick them up and sell them. A full stack goes for 2000 credits, and you could get a lot of ammo and health that way. It's a time waster, but it's a super easy way to get money, at least.

Apparently the wall guardian things never killed you in Dead Space 1 because ya, they're basically unblockable insta-death if you're within 15 feet of one. They're like those zombies in the 2nd half of RE4 where you can shoot the head off, but it gets back up whipping a scythe-like appendage around and can kill you from a distance.

Unpopular opinion, but Dead Space 2 is actually better than Dead Space 1. Admittedly, it's not as intense as Dead Space 1, which is a bit of a drag, but it's a much improved and refined game than the original. Giving Issac a voice, the changes to the weapons, better enemy variety, pretty much everything was improved, and now I'm super hyped that a remake of DS2 might actually happen one day, while also being hyped to play the original remake very soon.
