Just a way to encourage up and coming ball players who want to play but can't get the right people who can help them to listen.

The guys behind him in the same pose with the same reaction, one two handed holding his bat, the other with his left arm on the cage. Got to love some of the corner cutting they did in this movie. Was it so hard to get him to hit a pop up a few times?
