He is a little short of breath. He was sick and out of that Outlaw Festival for the first 5 shows. Thankfully he is Full of life.. He laughed and smiled quite a bit that night. Hopefully getting the same out at Farm Aid in a few weeks. Go Willie..!!

He was sick and out of the Outlaw Festival for the 1st few weeks. They never did say why. We were worried he wouldnt show. This was near the end. He did 20 some songs that night and he was the only guy that used overhead lights. He put on a great show for 91.

I was sixteen and my cousin was sitting with this guy in a suit at Moravian Hall in Corpus Christi, Texas. She introduced me to this guy named Willie Nelson. That was in 1965. Mmm, ain't it funny how time slips away?

I saw Willy in New Hampshire in 2019 after he had first gotten really sick. He was having a hard time on stage, but everyone was backing him up so well. He was still amazing. I will cry my eyes out the day he leaves us and he is the last of the true country singers left.

I met Willie at Tex William's record shop on Lankershim Blvd in North Hollywood in 1973. He was so nice and friendly, He had just done a great show the night before at Busch Gardens which I also attended. Love that guy.
