He also eats a restricted calorie diet without many processed foods. I fully believe, based on current peer reviewed nutritional data, processed foods are far worse for the body and mind than marijuana.

He didn't say cage free organic eggs or some sort of whole grain thing for his bread and pretty sure he likes syrup on those waffles. lol Just shows how folks can read what they believe into anything. SMH. lol As far as calories those shakes have up to 1500 per and if he drinks several a day? Well.... you can do math right?

Willie gives great advice here; especially concerning alcohol vs cannabis use. I can certainly relate. I’m 75 now and for sure I’d be dead if I hadn’t given up alcohol use. Still puffing and enjoying a peaceful life. Keeping the weight off is also crucial to continued good health.

I'm 75, and my Doc just told me to severely cut down on my drinking....which was never more than 2 or 3 shots of whiskey a day. (Messes with ones blood-sugar balance) He did NOT, however, mention that I should cut down on my daily weed usage.....

Similar. I'm 59 and I have have told many doctors that I drink a 6-pack or 3 a week, 3-4 cups of coffee a day, and smoke weed, all day, every day. They always want to talk about my coffee habit, and never have cared about the weed.

I've always felt a connection to Willie in the sense that I was a very very heavy drinker at one point and then i tried marijuana and it changed me for the better. I became a better person and realized the drinking needed to stop and it did. I have no doubt I'd be dead by now if I hadn't stopped back then. So glad Willie is still with us!
