Very good take with Tommy Turbo taking a seat from fullback and having him do less on defence and more on attack. It worked with Quade Cooper and the QLD Reds in 2011 where Quade let his centres and wingers pick up the slack on defence.

That England team in the 2019 World Cup that was “super disrespectful” were still a good 20 metres away from the AB’s, “super disrespectful” is way overboard. Teams without a war dance should be able to at least walk up to halfway without copping shit. It adds to the spectacle, as does the crowd getting involved. Not booing the haka like Samoan fans did to NZ last year, but the English crowd belting out “swing low” just lifts the entire occasion. Love it

Hey lads With this new kickoff rule they're talking about what about when it's golden point and you have to either give them a 7 tackle set or short kick off it's going to be a huge advantage for the receiving team in my opinion.

Great show as always, this ruling around the kick off is just nonsense. The 7th tackle is no benefit at all. A set of six has to land 21 metres from the goal line, or you can kick to the goal line concede an extra tackle but then would have to make 21m from the first 2 tackles to be in credit. Realistically the 0 tackle will be made somehwere around the 10 so unles the second play makes 11+ metres it’ll equate to exactly the same yardage. Plus as you boys have said that first shot is usually a monster so won’t deter anyone. How many times are a team trapped in their own 10 and the D are more than happy to keep giving 6 agains on the first couple of tackles as it stands now.

it’s crazy how close tonga kept the game, both teams were missing alot of stars aswell but tonga was still able to keep it to with one converted try and from here the international game just continues to grow, with that being said as much as i hate to say it, full deck of cards, samoa really has the team to beat australia in a final of the world cup, the team they had last world cup was good but if you add arguably the 2 best front rowers in tino and payne haas and possibly a hammer in the centres, holy shit you could argue samoa has a better backline then australia, i really think this next world cup will be the most competitive world cup in nrl history and it wouldn’t be surprising if tonga or samoa win their first world cup, praying everything goes well for them as a proud maori and kiwi’s fan i love to see them thrive because they haven’t had the success we have and i’d rather see samoa or tonga win then australia again. love the poddy boys hope to meet triple og and broski scope somewhere in the future, up the levels

Hearing rumours NAS is considering switching to samoa aswell. I don't think Sexton's good enough for top 4 and Woods is the future. For me Hunt makes a lot of sense for 2 years. Without Hunt and May we're a chance of not even making the 8 next year. I think that's a lot less likely with those 2 additions.

Its about time they made Tonga and Samoa tier 1 teams they are that competitive now with all the quality players they have in the NRL but yeah nah NSW and Queensland especially NSW want those players to pick for there state it was the best thing JT did when he went to Tonga for the game and for NZ rugby league kiwis still got very good players to pick from they just need a smart coach my opinion only ka pai👍🏾
