Love this version. Written by Richard 'Rabbit' Brown and i think first recorded in 1927. Thanks Willie Watson for keeping the music alive and well. You are the man.

If you haven't seen it yet, make it a point to watch "The Big Easy Express." It's a music documentary with Mumford and Sons, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, and Old Crow Medicine Show (back when Willie was in the band) all on a train and jamming for two weeks. All the bands sounded amazing but in my opinion, Willie stole the show. If you give it a watch you won't be disappointed.

yes he did steal the show in that movie!

Coming to America next year to see willie all the way from Edinburgh, Scotland, obviously don't know his schedule yet, but any suggestions as to where abouts in your beautiful country I should think about visiting
@jillilliantaylor60909 жыл бұрын
jockyblade He will more than likely be around Tennessee, Kentucky, and Virginia. I am from that area and it's beautiful. My favorite place in the world is Red River Gorge in Kentucky. Great trials out that way.

Looking forward to seeing him with DRM a few times this April. would love it if he snuck a solo show or two in there (Willie? You out there?). Seriously- props to Willie and the sound engineer for this stuff. Amazing.
