Wow how awesome! I recorded this song ("I hate people") on a cassette tape one night off of the Dr. Demento show, and it is one of the cherished memories of my childhood. I've been searching for it on the internet and couldn't find it. Now I have! Thanks!

I've been upset for such a long time. I wonder why some things have to happen. Like teddies breaking down. It makes everyone's world fall down, y'know? Knowing that an 80's gem is aging and beginning to cease to work. Even my first teddy is starting to break down. You're teddies are really beautiful and clean, mine are just stashed in my closet, never being able to see the light. Some are a bit dirty, but my first is very clean. I have so many of them to look after, and It's a hard job. I really take care of the little guys. But the abundant amount of cassettes, books, teddies, grubbies, etc. I think I might sell them, stop my collection, give them up, or put them in a garage. I am struggling to find an answer. I am begging you to read this message as I am trying to stay in interest with many items I enjoy to collect. I might stop collecting soon, but I am not so sure about it. I really need your opinion.

Starting a collection of any sort is always a tough decision because there's the risk of losing the passion for it later on or running out of room or whatever... You've commented before, months ago, about the same dilemma, so I'd say it seems you're leaning toward downsizing your collection. And there's no shame in that! If it feels like you have too much stuff and it doesn't seem worth it, or if it is bringing you more stress than happiness, then it's okay to stop collecting Teddy stuff. It doesn't have to mean you don't enjoy it anymore! If you do decide to re-home your collection, I suggest trying to sell as much as you can on Ebay so it has a better chance of going to a good home! Also, consider holding on to a single Teddy and Grubby, or anything particularly special in your collection- for the memories and just in case that spark of interest comes back someday! :)
