I'm too old to keep my thousand LPs, so I've sold or given them away. Except for the first Willis Alan and the two Get Back/Come Back bootlegs. I'm so glad the CD was released so I don't risk the vinyls but I'll definitely buy them all when that 2nd album hits.

The album, now I guess soon to be the "first album," has been a desert isle disc for me since I was 12 years old in a small Ohio town, a long time ago. Sure there was Bob Dylan, and Neil Young, and Leo Kottke, and Robbie Robertson playing acoustic fills on "Dirge." But the fella who made me want to pick up an acoustic guitar and put it use while I or someone else sang songs was Willis Alan Ramsey.

100% agree with that. His style is his own and i would take the first album over any Young or Dylan album. Its a perfect record start to finish
