Freyna 20% Drop on the one escort shield drone mission. Took me 41 tries. It was ridiculous and the mission was awful to run cause you have to escort the drone for a couple minutes then defend it for a couple minutes.

I got lucky when I went to farm for it. I did 2 runs w/o a drop so I went back to Albion and then I went back and I saw two randos were doing the mission so I joined it and they had 15 seconds left on the defend timer and as soon as I joined the mission I got the drop 😂

I feel as if the stabilizers for each character are the hardest LOL, Sharen’s stab was soooo hard and tedious took me 60+ runs to get the stab from the chapel mission in echo swamp 😂

That's not how percentage works in this game it doesn't accumulate overtime for example from 20% to 40% to 60% then 80% up to 100% it stays exactly at 20% for each run so if you expect to get something you want that has a 20% drop on your fourth or fifth run think again. Edit: Think of it like this if the item has a 20% drop chance there's an 80% chance it won't drop.

Lets say the chance was 50%, it could still take you 10+ runs to actually have it drop. So when this guy said "realistically, a 20% chance should drop around 3~5 runs" is just straight up wrong and wishful thinking. This is also so wrong because it implies everyone is taking 40+ runs, however, the people who got it first try aren't going to go online and complain about how the rates are rigged with no evidence. With how many people are doing the runs, some people taking 40+ turns to have it drop is very realistic.

Proficiency tip: Equip any 3 weapons, then Valby farm. All 3 will lvl up after 20 mins or so, just replace and repeat. No shots need to be fired.

The farm is best for leveling characters also. Takes about 30 minutes. After opening hundreds of amorphous materials, not a single ultimate anything. They have been better on other things after last update though.

Best way to look at drop rates is if something has a 20% chance to drop it also has a 80% chance to not drop.

I never was any good in any math subjects but even I know that's not how percentages work especially when it is put as a chance to get something at a certain amount of time. People think of it as if it was a gacha game with a pity system where you get a guaranteed item after multiple unsuccesful attempts. If it's a 6% it's a 6% each time, everytime. Period.

Most every amorphous ive opened i get 10 of one 38% and 0 of the other one(the one i need because i have the other 3 peices for the set) this hasnt happened once but every time ive completed a set. I usually have to open around 15 to 20 to get that last peice. I think the drop rates read my inventory info. But i could be the unlickiest TFD player ever. Shrugs*

I farmed Freyna parts all day for the sub quest and I got two spirals in two separate runs and none of the other parts from the other missions. I ran each of the missions at least 15 times, statistically I should have all 3 parts, even if you are correct.

The drop rates in this game are likely way lower than they appear, and probably have other factors to them. Don't let these addicted gamers with no lives and unlimited time on their hands gaslight you into thinking something is wrong with your math. A 20% chance means you will likely get it 1 out of 5 tries. It's like rolling a 5 sided dice. It's extremely unlikely to not get what you're trying to roll for after, say, 10 or so rolls. And yet many people are struggling after 30 or so tries. The math or logic doesn't add up, and even people with a basic understanding of how a dice roll works can understand this. What is difficult to understand is why shills are so aggressively defending a company known for lying through their teeth about drop rates and even getting sued in the past for it. They are here to get you to spend disgusting amounts of time and money for as little effort on their end as possible. That inculdes getting you to play the same low quality, repetitive missions with no substance over and over again so you can have a tiny chance of getting a small piece of what you want.

I did a similar test on 11 and 12. They’re from Sterile land block kuiper mining. I only had 40 each of them, and drop rates were within acceptable margins. 20% drop rate is 1 in 5. Getting an item in fewer runs than that would be considered very lucky, more runs is unlucky. People don’t pay attention to the times they got something in 1 or 2 attempts and only focus on the times they actually had to grind.

When 1000 mod inventory increased. Warframe didn't have mod inventory. I must click it 1 by 1 to dismantle. And if 1000/1000 full, when another yellow / red mod drop on map you cant delete a few of them, meaning red/yellow mod is gone.

I'm paranoid about cranking up my characters with catalysts.. I feel like it's time better spent on ultimates instead of regulars since they have better stats, but I don't have any ultimates characters yet. It would be cool if they would make it where you could upgrade a regular character to an ultimate version if you upgrade all of their mod slots or something like that.

I am mastery rank 24. Level everything to 40. There is a Weapon List when you open your inventory, right above Descendent Module. It shows you all of the weapons and your rank in them. Favorite one of everything untill it is 40. It is not that bad of a grind if you keep changing them out after 40.

I farmed Sharen's Codes and it finally dropped after 22 tries....22 full dungeon clears. I tracked this progress based on my amorphouses received. This was before more higher level players were around, so this took very long and I did not count the failed attempts.

here's the thing, it says 20% BUT you could still get that 80% fail rate 99.9% of the time making you feel like it isn't 20% when it is. You are NOT guaranteed a drop 1 in 5 times, that is not how this percentage works at all. You can easily be unlucky enough to hit that 80% fail rate up to 100% of the time.

bad luck protection would go SOOO far in this game, but as is, farming for anything is painful rn. energy activator BLUEPRINTS, an absolute VITAL part to any character, are a 3% drop chance. 6 on Hard mode, a mode you can't even access until you beat the campaign. A week of focused farming for one has left me empty-handed and unable to progress as I've hit the cap on what I'm able to accomplish until I can acquire these. I'm loving this game, but theres so much 'wasted time' trying to get things that are COMPLETELY based on LUCK. I hate it, and it needs to stop unless there is bad luck PROTECTION. Period.

Drop rates are changed based on how much you play. It’s dynamic. Play once a week- drops are very high, play every day- your drop rates are decimated.

Ok, common misconception on drop rates here. Would like to clarify. Im going to assume someone is farming for the catalyst meanign 20% drop rate. See, that drop rate is per roll of the materials. But it isnt additive (logic makes you think otherwise, but its not.) To do the math, we need to find the number of runs we have to do to not get it. So per run, we expect an 80% (or 0.8) chance of not getting it using our catalyst example. We are going to raise this 0.8 to a power representing the number of runs "(0.8)^n." When you play with this math increasing n, you want to see how many runs it takes to get close to .01 or 1% and thats how many runs you have to do before you actually are guaranteed to get one drop. To some of you who think this is crazy, apply the logic to drop rates in other games and youll see the same relationship. There are also many online resources and videos showing the same thing. For those curious for the 3% drops, you have to do 150 runs (not counting farming materials to use) to be guaranteed 1 drop. Welcome to the grind!

I find 4-5 runs is about right for any drops around %20 that I've done so far. It took me 55 runs to get electric condense for bunny. Maybe it's my luck but I haven't come across anything that feels like the drop rate was lying. You can't really predict RNG anyways.

You can sell guns to the merchant in Albion, though I think they should rework the gold you get. Maybe give a merchant gold cap per half day to even it out a bit. But the amount of gold required in endgame is an uphill battle.

Drop rates do feel a little off I will admit at times but more often than not my I find myself finding rare or rarer mods or parts than not. I tried farming a Fallen Hope part a few times, 5 or 10 runs a at a time before moving on. I think it is key to remember with games like this that burning yourself out on a single piece of content is a good way to ruin your own enjoyment. This and Warframe are slow burn games. (I still recall spending a year trying to get the neuro something part for Khora) I eventually got it on the third day that I decided to run 5 runs. Some of the rarer things I have gotten are Descendant specific mods like Super Senses which has dropped for me twice in a mission it was not listed under. I have scored a few 15% or lower parts on Normal mode bosses. I scored the red mod, gold mod and a Blair part all in one run on my second run of an operation. Sometimes RNG be like that. My experience tells me the drop rates are not terribly off but that is just my experience based on finding more than a few things that should have been harder to get than a 20% drop rate. I won't tell people not to vent or to not keep a close eye on Nexon, they do have a history afterall but I think things are not as shady as some might suggestion. I have still having fun despite some bad luck on a few choice items. Mind you, I swore Nexon off over ten years ago after I got banned from Combat Arms over a false report some angry player made after losing a gun fight against a F2P player like myself. But after a friendo kept speaking highly of the game I gave them a shot and have been pleasantly surprised.

There is definitely something messed up with drop rates in this game. I had to run the same mission over 30 times (I believe it was closer to 40) for a 20% drop chance on a character piece last friday. And for people defending the “80% chance of not dropping” point of view, 👉🏼 that’s the same as picking a number from 1 to 5 and not having your choice appear in 30 “random” draws. Possible? Yes. But extremely unlikely. Maybe this will help *you* understand it.

Just go to the weapon list. It shows ALL the weapons and what proficiency level it's on currently.

Even with a booster leveling weapons is so slow!nWarframe I can get a weapon to max is 1 or 2 missions. They need to raise the boosters to 50% more xp. Also I just made MR 18 yesterday and its 199,000 to reach 19. I watched the MR cutscene all 18 times. Also I love Ultimate Ajax. He’s my favorite Descendant

if im not mistaken nexon did something on their older game in korea where they slowly manipulated the success chance of an item upgraded lower and lower people spend money and never got the upgrade

And they got sued for it. Highly doubt they would do the same thing again when they are already under the microscope.
