Great performance. Amazing how Pulp were still a very overlooked band at that time. RIP Steve Mackey!

Reminds of when i translated 59 lyndhurst grove, along with the other susan song, and passed it of as German Poetry... Lyndhurst grove became : Auf der Strasse nach Ostbevern. So thank you for my good German grades, Jarvis!

I remember watching this on broadcast, was only watching because I fancied the singer in Thrum, as soon as I saw Jarvis's slow motion scissor jump I knew this was special, stuck a video in and started recording, missed the first 20 seconds but spent the summer watching all 3 songs again and again. First time I'd seen Pulp, cracking bloody band! Got to see them live later that year. Good times to put it mildly!

Wow, better to find this now than never. You all have been keeping them to yourselves in the UK, haven't you? Ha ha, I found them. Love it.

Amazing performance! Thanks so much for this - I watched it many times before on an old VHS video back in the mid-90's and loved it. So good to see it again over 20 years later. Still love Jarvis now as much as I ever did - totally unique!

Thanks for putting this up, and taking me back to when I was 16! I was there- first time I'd seen Pulp in any shape or form, but could see it was pretty special, and was immediately hooked. Amazing to think they'd been kicking about for a decade before they got any serious attention from the media.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems Candida already had troubles with her arthritis and Mark Webber is kindly helping her.

He used to step in for some keyboards round this time period as they didnt have the funds or the tech to have a backing track playing marks keyboard part. But yeah i reckon from her playing style she has always had issues with stretching her hands wide. They started using sampled keyboard parts in 95 as soon as they got rich!

Russell's violin playing is insufferable, but that's what makes it cool.
