WILLOWTWISTERS is a family run business. Sara Holmes & daughter Hanna run live workshops from the picturesque countryside in Surrey, England.
Our online willow sculpture courses will teach you everything you need to know to create your very own willow sculpture. Sara will carefully guide you through the whole process from the tools you’ll need, sourcing and preparation of willow; researching your subject and creating an armature.
Sara will share with you the weaving, binding and sewing techniques she has developed and refined over many years, teaching you how to sculpt rods of willow into a beautiful natural sculpture for your garden or home.
All of our courses are suitable for complete beginners. Some courses are simpler than others requiring less materials, preparation and time.
