Great show, skill and a beautiful swallow for the subject.

I came back to find this project as just cut willow from my garden. Is it best to weave with Fresh willow or old / soaked?

I went to this school from 1960 - 1965. I love what you have created, the Willow Tunnel - it's going to look fabulous in a few years time when it is well established... Well Done!

Love this! We have several large Tortuosa on our property. Since they lose bits in every big storm, this is a wonderful idea. Just signed up for your courses, thank you for offering them!

Made a couple of these now. Used buff willow which isn't as flexible as I'd hoped, despite being soaked for longer than the recommended time. Anyway, it's easier to cut your front leg sticks down first (and they don't necessarily need soaking either). Cute project, though, going to make more!

Can you use fresh green willow from the garden?
@hannabanana823 жыл бұрын
Hello, sorry for late reply. Its Hanna from Willow twisters. You might find that some green fresh cut willow from your garden might snap. The willow we use is basket making willow which is perfect for crafts such as this.

If you can wrap it around your wrist it should be flexible enough. Best way to find out is to just try!
