@@Jenica21 i think its cuz the highnotes towards the end have a really strange sound, its kinda screaming but its also really high and willow doesnt have a particularly high voice. cuz "angelic" singing is considered to be extremely high cuz bible passages describe angelic choirs as lifting their voices very high to praise god. Really high, airy notes + traditional rock vocals = 'angel screaming'. At least i think thats what they meant

Honestly infuriating how Alt has been co-opted and taken by white people when Rock and Roll was invented by a lesbian black woman and goth as a genre started when Scream Jay Hawkins had made music. The aesthetics of all the old cyber goth stuff is literally derived from the creations of Black People and has gone without credit which is beyond fucking unfair. You should be allowed to feel comfortable and feel like you can be who you are without judgement. There has and always will be a place for black people within alt and no matter how hard people try and deny it, people like Pauline Black, Poly Styrene, Andy Anderson, D.H Peligro, Barry Adamson and Bad Brains were at the forefront of the scene.

I've never been a alt/emo/ goth individual if you will but as a black girl i love to see this kind of representation is especially for my other black girls that are emo/goth/ alt. I'm tired of us being put into a box and can only ike wht society deems as okay you know. Miss willow has down more than release a song but actually help some of our women feel more confident in expressing themselves, and in that i say thank you
