I just listened to the worst cover of comfortably numb and probably the worst cover a black dog ever put a memory. She’s cute at what she does but this is a person that did not grow up with this music and did not follow those bands that’s trying to kind of reinvent themselves is not a popstar. “Look at me. I can put on leather pants and swallow my voice”. There are a few rock vocal academies on you tube that have female singers, doing those songs properly with passion because it’s the music that they grew up listening to, that they love. Not that a PR agent or AR guy told them to cover. Miley Cyrus is a Madonna fan not a rocker. She might cover rock songs now, but that was never part of her musical education. She’s pop.
