It's my mission! I started losing my hair a long time ago, but it's impossible to forget the feeling of "why is this happening to me?" It was very liberating to give up the makeup on my scalp and all the teasing and bleaching. Life in wigs is so much easier -- and I have to spread that message far and wide! 😃

I too started having thinning problems during my senior year; I'll never forget how I thought, "great, just in time for my senior pictures". Prior to that I had hair everyone envied. And like you my hair was naturally curly, though it depended on length and weather how curly. My hair was sometimes like Avalon by Estetica, but would get curlier like Willow, and anything in between. John Frieda's Frizz Ease became my new best friend. Then because of illness it only got worse. I had limp, sad hair for so long it's taken me time to work my way up to wigs that resemble my fuller, curlier hair days of my youth. I saw Willow and thought, "that looks just like what my 'good hair day' would look like when I was in high school", and I knew I just had to get it. So I just ordered one in Black Magic. I don't know if you every have color requests, but I have one. Medium to dark brown with brownish auburn mix. I don't even know if that makes sense.

You know what would be really nice? Instead of felt, put some of that one way velvet, the same stuff that they use for the velvet Wig grips, with the nap oriented so that it helps to keep your wig on. If you put that on top of a wig grip it would be very secure indeed. But you wouldn’t have to do that either.

The Cheerwine Sangria looks good on every style we've made it in so far. It's very pretty. I've developed a very pretty light auburn/strawberry blonde called "Amber Honey Drip" (inside joke -- this is what my imaginary Bond girl name would be! LOL) I haven't made it yet, but will definitely show it off here when I do. 😃

I love Cocoa Swirl R. I have been wearing a 2/27 balayage HH wig lately and I think Cocoa Swirl R approximates it very well. I hope to get it in Willow and a couple of other styles. LOVE the rest, too. Gorgeous colors.

Great question. Willow is a standard wig without any lace or other hand-tied features. Keeps the price down and makes the wig very easy to wear, especially for newbies or folks who don't want to mess with adhesives.
