"I don’t think you should think less of yourself, I just think you should think of yourself less" That's some good stuff right there.

Yo the hate rant was FIRE. I've come to realize that I have many, MANY more supportive and encouraging people in my life than I do "haters" and giving the haters any time or attention actually takes away from giving back to those who support and love me to begin with.

doing it for the haters is doing it for the wrong reasons. doing things to reach your furthest potential is ideal because that motivation never runs out. and yeah I used to talk down about my parents but as I matured I realized people are just doing the best with what they've got and I can't fault them for that. it's just a dick move to do so.

Good stuff. Anytime I've met someone who said they grew up poor, they always add something else to it like, "I never knew we were poor though because my family always provided what we needed" or "my parents did the best they could and really cared for us and loved us" or something like that.

Wow this rant resonated with me and my ideals so much! Delusions of grandeur is running rampant in today’s society! Hence why everyone feels like they have haters!

You can do the supermax eccentric loading if you have those weight hooks at each end of the bar that unhook when they touch the floor, lightening the load enough to let you push it back up.

Btw these are the most entertaining videos i've seen in a while from anywhere, and that's not to take lightly because I don't get entertained easily. Love how different your perspectives are on things and how you don't seem to pander to everyone like the most fitness people, while also not trying too hard to be edgy at the same time.

Will, sorry for unrelated question, but what's your take on 2x bodyweight deadlift for athletes? Necessary or overkill?

Do you have any problems with your knee's? Or do you do any exercises to 'bulletproof' them to handle all the jumps and sprints?

Thanks for the detailed breakdown of my Supramax eccentric question! Makes a lot of sense. Need like 3 guys spotting and one of those attachments that drop off the bar when weight is lowered enough I guess, which is a hassle

Will, do you think that hoss+unit is an appropriate protocol for a grappler without an off season? I practice bjj/wrestling 5-6 times a week and am looking for some no BS general athletic training to eventually help sport specific movements
@willratelle80276 ай бұрын
Yeah Hoss + Unit would be appropriate, you just might need to reduce some of the overall workload and gradually increase it to not overtrain.
