What is the purpose of keeping iso at 400 , f/4.5 and 1/200 when we take a photo in dark means no ambient light? why do we have this exposure setting? I just wanna know the purpose behind it? thank you
@willsimpsonphoto18 күн бұрын
@@tayyabafkhan no specific purpose. I wanted a slightly higher fstop for the larger depth of field. Also my camera does pretty much the same at 100 or 400 so not too worried about it there. I just got good exposure and went with it 😂

Glad I came across your video Will. My biggest issue with doing this as you did was focusing my lens.Shooting a Canon R6 Mark II with Canon 70-200 L series Lens from about 8 ft away. I had to focus on an object manually then get in the same spot and make the shots. Auto focus just would not work well with my trigger. Also using CaptureOne tethered. No problems when I'm behind the camera with a willing participant (my Wife) but doing it with just me and a remote was a mess. Any suggestions for easier focusing ?
@willsimpsonphoto3 ай бұрын
ive had to do the same thing. set an item where I would be sitting and then set manual focus. sometimes if you're using a remote trigger, you can use auto focus, take a photo, it gives you a blurry photo but the camera now "see's" you and will focus on the second shot. otherwise the manual focus option does work.

This is probably a dumb question but how do you get your brush cursor to have the inner and outer circle (like it is in Lightroom)? I prefer that to the default single outer circle with color fill..
@willsimpsonphoto7 ай бұрын
So in Lightroom it shows the feather. That’s what the inner to outer circle represents. I’m not 100% sure if there is a way to get that in photoshop. You can for sure adjust the feather which is the “hardness” but the actual physical representation of the circle, I don’t know if it’s a thing in PS.
