I decided to play this line in classical chess in a county chess match. My opponent fell for one of the traps in the mainline but was able to create complications due to my poor pawn structure and shaky king safety. I won the game but I felt like I needed a bottle of scotch afterwards... Crazy line but a load of fun (as long as your nerves hold up).

I used to spam the scotch cos “kasparov repopularized it” and i even got the bc5, be3 position but i always play c3 on qf6 and then liquidation. And then i stopped playing the scotch. But i am reinspired!

really nice line , however i think you will get the best use out of it at top elo (1600+) as ive never seen anything like this at 1100 also takes a lot of study , still a very wonderfull openning with a lot of fun/intresting lines
