Wow, I can see how you fell in love with Matt's artwork. My mouth was wide open just looking at the video! For those of us who could never go to a show like that these videos are really special, and I love the way you decided to represent what appears to be Emmett's experience of the carwash. Brilliant!

Thanks for introducing us to Matt Jones! Wish I could see his show in person but glad to watch from NH where it's snowing on April Fools Day. Keep going on your book. It makes me happy to see the love you have for your family.

Yeah, that was pretty clever imagining how Emmett interprets those big, spinny, floppy things. Nice touch

Thanks for sharing Matt's work, I'm gonna check out Center Stage while his show is still up. There's a ton of charm in the sketch you made of the car wash. Great idea there, too! Have you thought of going straight to color over your loose sketches?

It is absolutely mind blowing thinking about the dedication it took for him to make that one book. It must have taken a lot of willpower to not give up or to not cut it short. His style looks super cool, will have to check him out. Taking a year off to travel would be super cool. I've lived in tiny Rhode Island my entire life and the farthest I've gone is Illinois D= It would be so exciting if you did a show in the East Coast..everyone forgets us over here!!

+DoodleBop92 Yeah. I feel that way about my people sketching book. Ive been doing it drawings for years for fun, the last couple years started wondering if I'll ever get around to making a book. I've never made it that far north to rhode island. I think the farthest north/east I've been is ohio.

I'm sure if you went back and looked you could make a book with the amount you already have. Especially if you add in your awesome little tidbits of wisdom or funny little stories about each drawing. Then again, you're investing a lot of time in work, your family and the 100 days of comics, I'm sure another thing on the plate would be overload!! You're not missing much over here, very little to do in our tiny state.

I've been thinking of hiring a designer to help me jumpstart the layouts on the book. I have all the content, but I havent been happy with my attempts at designing the book just yet.

I envy how you guys can do it... even if I travel, I just can't get to do it; can't get myself to draw whatever it is that I watch while visiting some place

When you say a week do you mean from when you recorded or when the video is released since you upload on a week delay?
