I’m so happy that Willy T. made it as the animated special. What a legendary storyteller. The word for his podcast sums it up perfectly… salacious. Thanks @continentaltire and @honda

Loved every part of this. The “dropped on cement” part (mainly the animation) had me rolling lmaoooooo. The animations were so well timed with Willie’s story.

Watching Uppity caused me to seek out more info about Willy T Ribbs, and then I found the DWR podcast episode. I was hooked from then on out!

Back in the day, when I first heard his name I thought it was a McDonald's meal of some kind. But I soon learned differently. Thank you for all the hours I spent cheering you on!

I resisted watching this vid due to his incident in late 1988 ( see below ) but figured I'd give him another chance as this might show the true content of his character. Got to 1:47 and can tell that he hasn't changed, and no I'm not easily offended, I'm out. " After a race at Portland, Ore., last year, TV announcer Bruce Jenner was driving Pruett and his girlfriend away from the track when they came upon Ribbs, walking. According to witnesses, Ribbs reached into the car across Jenner trying to punch Pruett but struck his girlfriend, instead. "

Pruett intentionally wrecked him on orders from Roush...Yeah we all saw Uppity too.
