I was obsessed with this movie when it first came out. Im now 30 and hadn’t watched it in years, but decided to show it to my 6 year old daughter. The moment he pulled the lever it triggered my memory of this video. Still amazing.

I agree with you. I love the old one much better, but the new one is closer to the book. In the book Willy Wonka was a creepy weird dude. So in that case I can see why they redid it and why people would love it. But I'll keep the old one. :)
