Now this is theme-mixing! Nintendo should add a then mixing feature to SMM3 with already made custom backgrounds. And like I’ve said before Willy. They really got to polish the nsmbu theme the enemy’s and Mario himself look so cheap-

@@DoodleBobFG I know! It’s annoying how nsmbu had 3D models for a 2D game in the original game but 2D sprite for the Mario maker version when 3D WORLD HAS 3D models anyway in SMM2! Like what is the problem?! Just port the polish look and 3D models into the next Mario maker game!

WillyMaker these level themes look great! Hopefully we get something like them in SMM3! Also I've had this idea for SMM3 for a while but just didn't know where to share it. In SMM3 I hope they sort the styles by the console they were released on instead of just being on one big dropdown menu.

I still think it's a straight up insult from Nintendo to add a jungle theme, not giving it poison, then not adding a beach theme and giving the jungle water, wtf

I think Nintendo was lazy to add the Beach Theme and they had to add Palm Trees to for the beach, Mountain Theme is not added because of that cliff thing and Volcano is not added because of Fireballs and No Flag in the end of the stage

if we are having mario maker 3 then we totally need those things here is my opinion on how mario maker 3 should be: having a button for underground themes like the day or night theme button and also the same for castle themes, another thing should be for the themes with liquids (lava, water or poison water) i think that we should be able to choose if we either want them active or not

@@WillyMaker No, I mean now, there are 10 different themes, but to make the beach for example, you have to replace the forest. Would it be possible to add more slots (like 16 for example) so we can still make levels in Volcano, Desert, Forest, Beach, Tower, Castle and Canyon at the same time?

I feel like at this rate, Nintendo will just introduce an entirely new game style for Mario Maker 3 rather than add in all the old ones such as beach and lava underground, or maybe they could do both! A real Mario Maker where you have a unique game style exclusive to Mario Maker 3 + a proper 3D overworld creator would be the true selling point of the next one, but also a big risk, because why introduce a new style when they can just do another 2D Mario game like Wonder?
