My 64 CJ5 jeep has been sitting 10 years, and the brake pedal naturally went to the floor. I looked at the job and thought I can't even see the 2nd line, thinking it would be opposite the the one I could see. As long as that one line comes loose it's not looking so bad. Thank for the video!

great help. the brakes on my 1965 cj5 tuxedo park, went out, same as you described. watched your video, ordered a master brake cylinder and got it in. Thanks. As an aside, any ideas on transmission for the jeep with a 3 on the tree? thanks again.

Glad it helped! I do not know of any good transmission replacements, unless you want to convert to floor shift. I am going to stick with that stock trans on my Jeep- even with a 4.3 v6 conversion.

Okay so I am putting a new tub on my cj5 that was torn apart to be rebuilt before I got it. Would you be able to sent a picture of where the break system mounts?

I lost those bullet connector clips. Any idea where to find new ones?
@BadHombreGarage3 жыл бұрын
@Justin Eldridge unfortunately I don’t have a line on the OE replacement parts. I know you could just buy the generic brake switch that comes with the wire connectors if you wanted to go with aftermarket parts.

Thanks for watching! And though perhaps your feedback got to the point a little abruptly, I do appreciate the support for the channel.
