Did you have to flatten the filler neck on the tank, or did it come that way to fit it over the frame? Is this new tank setup working out well for you? Nice to have the larger diameter filler hose rather than the newer 1" hose, which sucks when fueling up because the gas keeps backing up shutting the pump handle off. I had to hold the pump handle and trickle the gas in slowly every time I tanked up my '79 CJ.

A hinged rectangular LED tail light mounted over the fill port with matching LED tail light on other side would be slick.

I’ve not got any experience with the later tanks, I like how this worked out with the larger gas fill line!

They make the vent tube adapter that goes in the small hole on the fill tube. I got it for my 74.

How did you connect the vent tube to the filler neck after cutting to fit the filler hose?

There’s a precut hole in the filler tube for it

Is it necessary to remove the tub to install the tank, or can it be installed from underneath 🤔.

No I’ve read of people doing it without removing the tub! As easy as it is to remove the tub though it might be a wash! Thank you for watching!

Are those the stock axles ? I didn't know there was that much room between the inside of the tire and the frame rails

They are stock Dana 25 and 44 but I’ve got 1.5” wheel spacers. I needed them to clear the front calipers and not turn into my front springs!
