Willys Jeep fender notch and custom seat brackets part 2! In this video I continue the process of swapping in the low back bronco seats into the CJ3B. I show how to make a custom seat bracket for the driver side and how to mount it to the Jeep. I got great results with the methods I used!

I rebuilt the engine and all of the drivetrain… unfortunately it was before my KZbin days. There’s a lot of content there I would like to share some day if I ever rebuild another one! My alternator setup is homemade but they have some really nice, inexpensive kits available now.

@@SevenBarSalvage thanks for the reply, I too have a 3B it’s a 1954 engine and drivetrain are sound. Is yours 12volt conversation? Where did you get the stater? Looks like a duralast. I love your disc brake setup and steering conversion. I want to do those upgrades to my Willys soon.

@@stevenzembriski6761 Yes I used a gm 1 wire 12v alternator. The starter is for a Toyota Landcruiser I can’t remember what year. They are great upgrades if you need any help let me know!

i did the same for the seat, a few better ways are on the internet. also remember the axle will swing backwards away from the modification ( to an extent it will move in a arch but it might miss the corner ). I am also leaving mine as is. if you get yours done first I will see your opinion what is the lift again? and tire size / width

Most likely I won’t have to change it much if any. It’s roughly 1.5 inches over stock and I’m gonna run 32-11.5-15’s.
