After watching all your videos. I must tell you that I am very impressed. I myself, was looking into an early CJ5 build/restoration project when I ran across your channel. I was intrigued as to why you call it Flossy. So, after watching all your videos, I know why you call it Flossy. Just like Flossy, I was born in 1956. I graduated from high school in 1974, just as the 1974 high school graduation tassel that came with the windshield. Coincident? I was working on cars and trucks when I was a young kid with my dad. My real knowledge I learned after I joined the Air Force Dec 74-82 as a Aircraft Maintenance Specialist. After getting out of the military, I hired on with a Air Force Base that does Depot maintenance on various aircraft. I was working at home on fast cars and 4X4's this whole time. Now! The reason I told you all my background is because I am 68 years old and have a lot of knowledge that I have learned over that time. Again, I am very impressed with you. At such a young age you know so much. Kudos to your Dad or other mentors/trainers. You have an awesome little Jeep that you can take pride in, knowing that you built it.

Thank you so much for the kind words! Also, thank you for your service to our country! It's quite the coincidence that you were born the same year, I was trying to think of a good name for the jeep and started looking things up and eventually found the name. I think it's cool to have a history behind it, a story I can tell people. I am grateful for the knowledge I have gained and the memories from building Flossy. I know a lot more now than I did when I bought Flossy a year ago, and I'm looking forward to more adventures. Thank you again for the kind comment, I really appreciate it. It's always cool to be able to relate with someone. Good luck with your CJ project!
