Willys Jeeps on Hells Revenge 2018

Four vintage Willys Jeeps take on the Hell's Revenge trail in Moab, Utah on Aug 2, 2018..
This is the 2nd leg of a 3 part epic adventure that started at the Rubicon Trail in California and ended on Black Bear Road and Imogene pass in Ouray Colorado.

Amazing how little fuss these amazing old jeeps make? No loud exhausts,crazy tyres,bolt on extras etc. They simply drive up to an obstacle and then drive over it!

it's easy to see that Bam Bam has some lift to it, but if you look close you will see it also has much longer front springs than stock, very cool

Wow am surprised what you can do with these jeeps I just got an xj 96 and love it I bought it crashed from driver side with 4.1/2" lift 33"s dana30 and rear8.25, yoke eliminator, love it but I LL be fixing it but I still drive it around town since Jeep can be driven now I want a willys for the Future too, and some day go to Moab as well greetings from Chicago North burbs

The first Jeep sounds like it has a little rod rattle which is typical of that junky 4 banger. I had to replace bearings in mine twice so I got rid of the 4 banger.

Mr Fuller can you tell who's jeep is petrol and who's jeep is Diesel. Cos the old engines sounds the same.

Raj Rajat Shubhro All the jeeps in this video are gasoline (petrol) powered. The two green jeeps are powered by v-6 engines and not the stock 4 cylinder engine. Thanks for watching.

@@missionukpsc6430 I am probably not the right person to answer the “what’s the best engine” question. My philosophy is to see what I can do with what I have. Modern engines with higher horsepower, fuel injection and electronic ignition are more efficient and powerful. So if that is your criteria then a modern engine might be the way to go. I like using the old stuff. I get more satisfaction doing what I do with the original drive train, so original is best for me. Other people want to roar around with giant tires and big axles etc. They need a different engine.

@@Grampas-jeep No i don't looking for modern modifications. my only confusion is about engine that's because despite love for stock jeep the petrol hurricane engine jeep is highly uneconomical in indian perspective so i wanted to know how much difference does a diesal engine would create... Thanks anyways.
