I have a 1954 M38A1 that i've owned for about 20 years. The owner before me changed the 24v over to 12v and did some body work. etc. But the only thing that has me puzzled about my Jeep is that the bottom of the dash is different than any other m38A1 that i've ever seen. My dash under the driver glove box goes about two inches below the steering column, but the rest of the dash on the right of the steering column is straight across and is even with the steering shaft all the way across... Never did understand why.

I went to your website looking to find out how many volts I need in my battery for the 134 f head motor and found that it says 6 or 12volt. Still don't know if I should get a 6 or 12. What would be your recommendation.
