Good job, Willy! I have sharpened scissors before, but still learned a couple of tips. 😇😎. From Wisconsin, USA I have a Norwegian grandmother. ❤️

I went to the grocery store and bought a cooky tray large enough for my Tormek. Works great and it's cheap.

The video I’ve been looking for. You’re very helpful mate. Subscribed and liked. Looking fwd to more. I’ve just bought a T8, I’m a carpenter and never had chisels like this. I’ve been using the diamond stone. I’m thinking of going semi pro with the offer of sharpening others tools. The scissor jig has confused me and you explained it beautifully. Thank you and best of luck

You don't use the scissor blade to set the angle - use the gap between the two holding pieces the jig is set up with it's angles to be used like that. The scissors edge should stand prouf by 3mm - not enough to get the angle setter on the blade. Tormek seem to be good at jigs and tools - expensive (we're not al as rich as the Norwegians!) but well made and worth every penny. Check out Robert Sorby equipment well made by experienced makers of chisels and other edge equipment
