That sounds awesome! You guys are also the ones, who made the Frosted Winter Mod, right? While that mod wasn't perfect, it's still a better/more realistic sequel to GTA 3's storyline, than the Forelli's Redemption Mod, imo! Anyway, I can't wait to play the full version of Shine o' Vice and fully experience your team's vision of a sequel to GTA Vice City!

Despite not having had an update since 2019 this mod is still worth trying out! A lot of passion has gone into this and there's still some small progress being made to this day. Shine o' Vice really brings out that Vice City atmosphere and features a new story, complete with creative and challenging missions, new vehicles, pedestrians, map expansions (such as Downtown and Shady Acres) and more. As well as story missions the demo features some Side Missions, Rampages and MANY new interiors to explore along with some easter eggs. Highly recommend this to you Vice City fans and hopefully we'll see another update some day soon. More info can be found in the description. Enjoy!

This is an amazing mod. I'm surprised at the quality of the new cars. Do you think would be possible to make a showcase to each and every of the new vehicles in there? I see from "classic" version of some GTA 5/Online cars there. My favorite so far was the Euros, which is based on a convertible Nissan 300ZX with some Testarossa front. Also, some exploration of the new areas would be awesome. Thanks a lot for the gameplay.

@@WavyMac Yeah that was a shame. This mod doesn't "remaster" or "port" anything, it's just a fan-made mission script, kind of like the "Design Your Own Missions" scripts you see for San Andreas. So hopefully this'll be safe.

Great work! But educate me, please, what is the problem with putting new dialogues into the game? Besides recording. Is it some unbreakable codec or something? I've seen some nice mods like this, but none of them with speech

It's just really hard to get good quality, convincing voice acting in mods. It would cost money to hire real voice actors and to record it properly and these mods are usually just non-project passion projects.

This was played with the Steam version of the game. Just a simple downgrade (Google “Vice City Steam Downgrade”) and it works fine.

It's been done before...badly lol. The only way they could add voice acting is through AI or something. They could change the style of cutscenes in a way where no voice acting works better, like GTA Chinatown Wars or something.
