Wilson Combat EDC X9 accuracy test comparing groups using Federal HST 124 grain, +P, Hornady Zombi Max, Underwood Xtreme Defender 90 grain standard pressure, Winchester Ranger T-Series 124 grain 124 +P, Igman 115 grain FMJ, and Below 124 grain FMJ. Nothing scientific. Just a day at the range at 10 yards.

The EDC X9 is a brilliant gun, and there is plenty of fine info here for those who do not yet know it, but as an accuracy test, 10 yards and hand held with no support doesn't help. The results here are down to your good shooting, but the gun itself is a lot more accurate than this. I wouldn't go for anything less than 25 yards with Ransom Rest, or at least supported. That said, you do shot very well.

Interesting results. I found with the Liberty Civil Defense 50 grain +P loads my EDC X9 throws the rounds to the left as well. Tight group, but to the left. Think it has to do with the speed.

Probably. Barrel twist isn’t made for that speed.

I have a creative way to afford these and it was completely by luck! About 10 years ago I found Wilson dealer that does layaway - and I realized if I didn’t buy lots of less expensive guns I could get Wilson’s. So, you place your order, pay a deposit like $300 and then pay him a little each month - it can take 3, 6, 9, 12 months or more for your gun to be built. Once it’s built and the dealer gets it, you get 6 month layaway - still not cheap but this is how I built my collection 😊

No. Just the shape of the bullet that makes the star shaped hole.

Liberty Ultra-Light 50 grain +P. It’s more comfortable to carry due to the lighter weight.
