If you are only pulling out liquid why not use a good wet/dry vac ?

Exactly what I'm thinking

@@bobbybrooks5846 I have a Bissell . Works fine but rarely use it and that was only the a few times after I got it a couple years ago. Just as soon use my pulman wetvac . I use a duck bag over the filter so I can go back and forth between wet and dry without changing the filter. Just as strong as any extractor. And with proper technique and chemicals I don't need or care to add even more liquid aka water . Probably just me . I'm "old school " . 40 yr detailer.

@@derrickabare9986 the only problem i can think of using the shop vac is that you can't see if its still picking up water, because the attachments aren't transparent

@@bobbybrooks5846 this is true . Ove been doing it so long if gotten pretty attuned to the sound the vac is making through the nozzle not to mention simply feeling with my hand . As far as mats go I I do them 1st thing b4 I even wash whatever I'm working on at the time . By the time I'm done the detail the mats are dry .

I also have a smaller bristle and then I have a large prochem extractor. When I do mobile I only take the small one. Much easier to transport and does a great job. I have the customers bring the vehicles to me when they are bad enough to need the large extractor I'm not transporting that around.

The only negative with the spot clean is the hose length and that you have to empty it every two passes 🤣🤣🤣👌

I gotta get me an extractor, it's the only tool i don't have lol. I have an air compressor but not that haha. I really find that the extractor isn't always useful for the majority of jobs and that's why I never got one; on a budget right now. The air compressor is a more useful tool for me to have instead cause I can use it for a lot. Such as blowing the interior and exterior water in crevices, and especially for cleaning my DA pads
