Hey man! Haven’t been able to use a coating yet I would like to eventually definitely seems like this one is user friendly and fairly easy to take some time and apply it and the fact that you can get it on plastics and moldings is absolutely fantastic! That’s probably what I would say makes it so desirable for someone starting out! Looking forward to learning more from you!

I used this product on a red Tesla model 3 which was amazing! The included black card is used to push the applicator cloth into the slits on the side of the applicator sponge, so it stays in place. I applied two coats and a third on the front bumper and facia, with about 20% of product left in the bottle. This is by far the easiest ceramic coating I have ever used. Highly recommended!

What an awesome video!!! Gosh there’s so many things I like about this: 1st - when it comes to a diy ceramic coating, this had been the most detailed video ever!! And I love that it was about Avalon King because I have been interested in this product. This definitely increases my confidence in applying a ceramic coating myself without worry and doing harm to my personal vehicles! 2nd - I always wondered how much AND how often of the product you apply to the applicator as you go along applying it to the vehicle. Thank you for showing AND explaining that. 👍🏼 3rd - it was also good to know that one bottle went a long way and a big truck!! Thank you 🙏🏼

Armor Shield IX is great. On my last Ford Edge 2 years ago I coated it and it lasted at least that 2 years after i returned it for lease. I have a new Edge that i plan i coating with Armor Shield IX this spring once winter is over. HIGHLY recommended. Very easy application. Makes washing the car a snap. But you are one of the last youtubers to talk about. Thats how i found out about it a couple of years ago.

Nice job on the truck and man do you work fast! You were a blur working on that truck! I know, I know, you fast-forwarded. I had to have some fun with that. I use Avalon King a lot and I was surprised also when they told me that the product does not need a topper. Erik, from Avalon King, told me last year that they are working on one, but he said that if I wanted I could use Mother's CMX. I have applied two layers to many cars and the coating does last for about 2 years for most cars here in NY. Winters are brutal here in NY. Again, nice job and that was a good choice for that truck. My questions are, what would you recommend for the new vehicle? I have probably 7-8 Lake County orange pads, and 5 or 6 black and white pads. I have also used, Wolfgang Swirl remover, Finishing Glaze and Deep Gloss Sealent. What products would you recommend for brand new truck? I have never used any ceramic coatings. One other thing, unfortunately, this vehicle lives outside so I won’t have the ability to let it cure in a garage. I appreciate your suggestions on how to properly protect my brand new truck! Thanks!! I’m not locked into the Wolfgang products. I also have plenty of clay and Iron X

I would apply ethos ceramic matrix over shield amor any day for my customers. 2 coats of ethos with proper maintenance will last 5 years plus. Shield armor will be lucky to last 2 to 3 years. Shield armor is easy to apply but it's definitely more of a consumer coating.

I’ve only used cheap ceramic coatings (15-30$) as a 14 year old who’s dad does not really care about maintaining cars. I found that after the curing time, the bottom of the car where you get a lot of snow and dirt still destroys the ceramic coating. The top of the car stays great, but it’s the bottom that needs protection.

Right now I’m using Gyeon Cancoat, TAC Moonlight and just installed some 303 Graphene for a customer who wanted a faster drive-away time than a standard sio2. I also have some Devils Blood by Fireball Korea waiting for the next customer who wants a 2 year coating. Now saying that I am interested and have heard good things about Avalon King. I’m definitely interested in the ease of use aspect.

Hey Luke, I just washed, clay barred , polished , with a DA MACHINE, and a alcohol wipe down , the other day. I was waiting for my Avalon King to come in? Since then , it’s been about 4 days, it’s rained, and been shitty out. What would you recommend, I do to prep the car, to apply the ceramic coating? Just wash, and do an IPA wipe down?

@@wilsonautodetailing so far getting great results from the sealant. I decontaminated and used a one step on the paint before applying the S&S and then waited 24 hrs to top it with the spray wax. I did it back in October and reapply the spray and wax every 3 washes. My car is also garage kept so it’s not really fair to rate the longevity but it’s still holding up even after being forced to drive through some Maryland snow/salt treatment. It’s nice for someone who can’t keep their hands off the paint lol. It’s nice to see that after 3-4 months, I can still dry the car off with a leaf blower.

Luke, been following you since 2016. I watched the “Nastiest Muddy Farm Truck” start to finish. I would have said “No”! But, I’m a detailing “Enthusiast”. Hard to believe the shine on that vehicle in your final walk-around. Here is my question on AvalonKing application and removal. I watched your process on the Ford F-350 more than once. I’ve watched others more than once also. But, in your video you use a different towel for “Removal” and then the towel in the AvalonKing box for “Final Wipe”. All others use it start to finish. I will not do that! I’ve got a package of Autofiber Microfiber Coating Leveling Towel I’ll use for the initial “Removal”. They are like the white towel or towels stacked on the table in your video. Then perhaps something else for “Final Wipe”. Your thoughts? I will be applying two applications.

I used avalonking armor shield IX however. I feel like this one $25 ceramic coating from Amazon. When you search ceramic coating. It’s one of the first that pop up. I feel like that one had more slickness and gloss tbh… it’s not a brand ceramic coating but works amazing!

I’ve had it for 2 and half years on my work truck (landscaping) this truck I kid you not, gets dirty in 2 days. So gotta wash it very often because it’s a dump truck that I use to move dirt and a lot of crap in. And the ceramic coating is holding up amazingly!

This is an extremely attractive coating for a beginner like me. I've only used paint protection once in a wax and it was fairly simple to use. If this is anything like that but lasts so much longer, then consider me intrigued.

@@wilsonautodetailing I've had it on my vehicle for about 6 months now and like it. Very hydrophobic and cost effective too. I'm about to do a refresh on it just to keep it hydrophobic and lasting. The only cons I can think of is it's not a beginner ceramic (even though it was my first) and the ceramic "smears" for lack of better term, when trying to wipe them off.
