quick note for anyone curious; Zombie ending: Don't cure yourself of the T virus before you get out of the city. Regret ending: Escape from the city after using daylight on yourself, but don't bring any spares. Hopeful ending: Cure yourself with Daylight and escape with a backup vaccine.

George and Cindy's special ending feels like the one true ending of the game. I mean, look how synchronized the main theme song is to the actions on-screen! And the timing makes the destruction feel so sorrowful and emotional. The other endings are scored like a Cabin-in-the-woods action film...

Going by the fact that the Outbreak games have a four player limit, I would say that four of the characters survived and the other four were left behind. For the survivors, my money would be on Alyssa, Yoko, George, and Cindy. For the ones left behind, my bet would be on Kevin, Mark, Jim, and David.

On a sidenote, I think Alyssa, Yoko, George, and Cindy can combat the Umbrella Corporation the hardest as survivors of the outbreak. Alyssa and her stories can combat them in the press. But, it's the way that everyone embraces death that makes all the endings bittersweet, in that; after everything you went through only to end up staying behind but for a good cause. At least they die honorably with some leaking info out to the world about umbrella while others try to cope with the thought of being caught in the nuclear blast. I wouldn't call them good or bad endings (except for the being infected and getting on the helicopter) but just the ending you happen to get. REO! :3

I loved the endings where the survivors ended up staying behind to get caught in the blast and embraced death moments before. It really sets the whole Raccoon City Stage apart from most other games to know that not everyone in the series was lucky enough to get out in time and others got left behind and sacrificed themselves. Outbreak was a great example of untrained unprepared people doing their best to survive as long as they could.

After almost 16 years, I managed to finish this legendary masterpiece when I became an adult. I played this game, first game was Resident Evil Outbreak file 2. When I was a child in 2007 (I don't remember exactly what month), the cover of Outbreak file 2 was so captivating so I bought it (unfortunately in the beginning of PlayStation 2, we used to purchase pirated copies of PS2 CDs games). I played almost all the scenarios of Outbreak 2, I didn't understand English at all. I adore this game so much because it presented a survival horror in a new concept in the 2003 and 2004. That was amazing game

I'm amazed by how many endings this game actually has also I wish this game would get a remake on ps4 xbox one and pc this resident evil was a very good one if not the best one because of what You the player could do as well as getting bitten would result in death if not cured.

As many times as I've palyed outbreak I still struggle to make sense of that Epilogue: A is that location the nuked remains of what was once Raccoon City? B: Was that guy on the phone Nicholai or Wesker?

StevenCodeBlack I doubt it's either. For one thing, Nikolai Zinoviev (how his name is really spelled. His US spelling was a translation error) wouldn't be in charge of such stuff. Wesker was working for a rival company at this point (see Ada's story, "Death's Door" in Umbrella Chronicles for the details) Also, the ruins of raccoon city were under control of Umbrella until the company's collapse in 2003. After which, the US government took over.

there was an Outbreak 3 planned but ultimately scraped. maybe there would be the answer to who the guy on the phone was. but if the papers in the epilogue are lore (and not some random articles) then the epilogue's year is at least 2000 as one article mentions a case of a boy with "rabies" in september 2000. and if the rail-shooter umbrellas chronicles also is within the lore of the outbreak games then the men on the phone could be Sergei Vladimir

This is making me sad I didn’t even play the game that much i was a little girl so I didn’t finish the game but all i can say outbreak is one of the best re games ever i hope i can see a remake or remsterd for this game And i really feel bad for the ones who didn’t survive like leon and claire and jill

Anthony NHN Its a rough Puzzle where you NEED knowledge of colors, if I recall (its been years). Its not too complicated a puzzle, but its really annoying, n requires you to know colors... which I am not an expert either. To make this quick, there are three random passwords. These are: 3555 5315 8211 One of these will unlock BF2. If you want to access the rooftop, 0930 (which is based off of another 'hint' from a seperate memo). Try one of these three numbers listed above to access BF2, n' use 0930 to access Rooftop. If you need some raw firepower, n are able to deal with crows, the Rooftop usually has a sub-machine gun or such, depending upon what difficult you are on, n' whether you (I think, if I remember), if you talk to the dying cop as Kevin or not... or it might work for all characters. Its been a couple of years.
