Can you do make a list of the worst NBA teams that didn't even get the first overall pick since 1985?

btw biggest reason Melo won ROTY was bc he hands down changed Charlotte's winning. only thing Ant had on him was points, while Melo was better at everything else & even led his team to the play-in.

Turns out, they don't give out ROY 20 years later. They have to pick it after 1 season.

I still have all the stock in Lamelo, i feel you glossed over how good he actually is. yes very injury prone but now that his team has gotten better and he’s had basically a whole year of rest, if he can play 50+ games everyone will remember why he was one of the youngest all stars ever.

Exactly. Steph didn't deserve that award at all. Dude forgot that it took Steph a minute to become the Steph we know and love today. He didn't make his first All Star Game until 2014.

This one should’ve Stayed in the vault a lot of them deserved it and it’s a award based off one season the career doesn’t matter at all after that this is like taking playoff games in to the mvp discussion

You can tell this guy is a casual. LaMelo is clearly one of the best players in the league when healthy. And one play didn't ruin Simmons career, his unwillingness to play did it.

almost every player in here won roty bc they were undoubtedly the ROOKIE OF THE YEAR. its not an mvp award, its based on their FIRST year & that's it, nothing was controversial about it whatsoever. times change but stop tryna change the times. rookie of the year was rookie of THAT year, nun else matters

Chill the video is about rookie of the year winners that aged poorly and all the other guys he is talking about had strong cases to win the award and turned out to be much better players

@@kohsmoger1567 okay let's act like we blind & cant read titles lol end of the day who cares. a rookie of the year award cant age poorly bc its based off of a SINGLE season & not just any season, your FIRST. its not an mvp or dpoy award that can be given out any given year of a career, the award is based off of your performance that FIRST year vs OTHER rookies. shouldn't matter how they turned out after doofus, it should matter how they performed that year alone. making arguments about who should've won it bc they turned out better is just an envious, jealous ass argument/point to begin. move on & grow up
@timeoutdrew6491Ай бұрын
@@kohsmoger1567 you sound dumb just like bro who made the video it aint a "who we think gone not age poorly if we give them this" award or who will probably become better later down the line. like shut up. nobody cares or thinks about an award aging poorly thats why they vote & hand awards out at the end of each season they don't wait 10 years & say "oh yeah lets give him the '14 roty he turned out better than bro"

@@timeoutdrew6491 Its literally the premise of the video. It isn't your video its his video. Normally when someone wins rookie of the year you think they will be a star going forward but that isn't always the case

If Lamelo stays too long in Charlotte Jailers he will become another Ben Simmons, he has fat contract and will stop caring about bball
