I really appreciate your videos, Sandy. Your appreciation of nature always comes through. They cause me to spend a few minutes more at a brook, or by an ancient tree, or the den of a wild animal. They truly inspire me!

Sandy, have you ever wondered why there are so many ancient sites in the Wiltshire area, it always facinated me while living there.
@WiltshireMan8 жыл бұрын
I don't know George, but it is a very historic county and thats for sure. Maybe it was a good place to grow produce and also had good amenities like rivers and woodland way back in prehistory. Sandy

I love watching your videos as well as your work. Thank you for not only showcasing your work but also sharing the knowledge and tips and tricks of the trade. Your knives are the mutts wotsits and I wish I could afford one...😁 I was just on Saturday at cherhill with the kids and the dog , and that was our first time too which is embarrassing as we're only from Pewsey Vale. look forward to seeing more and hope that one day I bump into you in our lovely countryside.👍 Me and a friend do a monthly overnighter in Savernake , we'd love you to come and join , even if just for a cuppa in the afternoon. next one is after tomorrow ... Anyways, wish you all the very best for you and yours , and keep up the good work Sir!👍👍 Best Regards

Do you fancy doing a video on how to fly a Drone? I bought one last year and lost it in the sea up in Scotland. Have since bought a small one and struggle to steer it. None of them had camera,s on. I want to eventually want to get one with a camera on once I learn to handle one.

Hi Ade,Will skype with you soon. The Lansdowne Monument, also known as the Cherhill Monument, near Cherhill in Wiltshire, England, is a 38 metre (125 foot) stone obelisk erected in 1845 by the 3rd Marquis of Lansdowne to the designs of Sir Charles Barry to commemorate his ancestor, Sir William Petty.The monument was designated as Grade II* listed in 1986,[1] and restored by the National Trust in 1990. It is near the Cherhill White Horse.ATBSandy

Wiltshire Man just a bit off the M5 in Somerset near the small town of Wellington sits the worlds tallest 3 sided obelisk, it's 175 feet tall and literally towers over the Blackdown hills. Build to commemorate Arthur Wellesley, Duke of Wellington, it's worth a visit with the drone when you are passing that way on your travels to the south west moors.
