I was last at Honister back in 2019 when I walked the Wainwright Coast to Coast path, a journey on foot of almost 200 miles.
It was great to revisit the slate mine as I stopped there for a break:)
The Honister pass is quite an easy ride and the Whinlatter is very straight forward. Kirkstone a little more challenging Nice views to be had as you ascend the passes. The Lake district did not disappoint me.

Such a great series of videos Sandy. I am really it. You must be getting a little saddle sore by now from all of that riding that you have done the past few days. You have managed to cross all of the passes off your to do list and now maybe you will have some easier travelling. Now just sit back and enjoy the ride and the beautiful views. Ride safely and have lots of fun.

Wow! what beautiful country Sandy!. especially the one view where you said you wanted to go back with the other camera. that was breathtaking. My Biggest regret now, is that when I was stationed in Giessen, I did not take the time to see more of England. just few short hours in Southampton. (that was 60 yrs ago but still found memories of what I did see of Europe.) thanks again Sandy for another great adventure can't wait till the next one 73 till then de Ellis

Lovely tour shame about the low clouds spoiling an otherwise grand views, I did the same tour 40 years ago on a vespa scooter!! Years later I discovered Europe and the Alps French, Austria, Switze, Italian,Truely awesome in every way, Breathtaking views snow topped mountains, Near empty roads, Great food, Camping sites second to none,Clean toilets showers (hot) drying rooms for wet gear, cafes come shops, 30 years later I have 5 thousand photos and countless memories to look back to!! St Bernard's pass, Where I met a group of American bikers who between them have travelled extensively all over north America and Canada said, St Bernard's pass is the best mountain pass in the world by far!!
