Im restomoding two Z on my own.Its very normal for fabrication to take that long if your a first timer.you learned alot and paved the way for others so good job. No pro fabricator would show unwire wheel welds so good for you. I subscribed because of your honesty in your build great job And winter SUCKS if yout a car guy its why I moved from Boston to Florida no more snow.

Another awesome video! I found this video super helpful as I'm doing a very similar build this summer as I've mentioned you're videos have helped me foresee and avoid a lot of time consuming issues! Keep up the good work

Still to this day, my #1 fav youtuber shows us he's slowing figuring out the pains and struggles of being a fabricator. 😂 I was seriously yelling at the phone "NO DONT PUT THEM THERE!! NOOOO!!" Lol Sorry man, shit happens. Fabrication is a lot like chess, gotta think 5-10-20 steps ahead for things to work out smoothly. BUT, at the same time, you have to let the car kinda build itself in a way too. As usual, couple tips. #1, GET A HEADLAMP AND PUT BOTH HANDS SECURELY ON THAT GRINDER! Like I was cringing watching you struggle with that cuz all it takes is that cutting wheel binding/catching for .001 of a sec and all hell can break loose. Don't wanna see you getting seriously hurt bro. #2 Try out the harbor freight 30,000btu propane heater, I have one in my shop as a spare for when I don't have the forge fired up and it keeps me warm enough to not need a carhard jacket on here in ID. As always keep the content comin! I have a good feeling 2018 will be a good year for 2J-Z! PS. ❤ The ZELDA64 licence plates! ❤

I have been battling -10 degree temps here in Nebraska. When it’s 20-30 outside the heater does ok, but it can’t quite cut through these extreme temps

I can see needing the light, good thought, but not quite. I've had fingers and my chin stiched back shut from a grinder catching on something. Knotted wire wheels are the worst for doing that. And I heard temps are way bad in other parts of the country, which is weird cuz I remember ID having -20° temps all winter long and this year has been like 5°... Kinda backwards

Nice work! takes a lot of balls to fab stuff up and put it on youtube props! only suggestion I have is that with your brackets and reinforcement is to find a way not to add so much weight to the chassis. great job

I give you my opinion to your 240Z build. It sucks! I don't want to look like a hater but that was a good car to begin with a nice restauration. And you cut and build the living fuck out of it. What you will end up is a fast car that is a lot less worth then a stock in good condition one. You should have choose the W58 transmission... it is slim and fits in. OK it does not like so much power like that trans mission or a R154 that is pretty wide too. You could have used a RB26 engine to and have much less hassle with the swap. But yes it is your car and you can do what ever you want with it. Please make sure you reinforce the frame structure and the chassis before you hit the road with it. That 2JZ is heavy and the car wasn't build for that or the power it makes. If you don't prepare it for it you will twist the shite out of it.

This car wasn’t restored bud. No thanks on your transmission suggestions, my solution works just fine. If you watched my other videos you’d know the chassis has already been reinforced. Do your homework before you write you snarky comment bud.

Did I hurt your feelings? If you would read what I have wrote without that pain in your ball room you would see that I wrote it was a good car to begin with an restauration. And I watched only parts of some videos... so you might be right on that part. I just cant watch all because that might hurt my balls. To many people think it is great to swap a 2JZ in everything with 4 wheels. But the W58 would have been the right choice for the 240Z you just needed to lower the power you want to reach and would have a reliable car with plenty miles of joy ahead. But, nope!
