Definitely I use more delay, because a dark delay gives me something kinda what I like and a bright delay its a whole another thing!

I am a DELAY FREAK!!!! Always have been. Just cannot get enough of it. I’ve always wanted to get into Reverb more, but at least when it comes to the music I make, and playing the guitar, I just tend to keep the reverb to a minimum, I suppose. The collider pedal is absolutely number one on my list of what I would want next, especially to get better and progress with my goal of getting to utilize Reverb more and more in the future. Each and every source audio panel that I have owned so far, I have all been just out of this world, amazing and if, and when I have the money, I will get each and everyone of them because they are that worth it to me!!!! Keep up the great work!!!!

Reverb. I've always loved reverb. I love jamming out ambient, open-sounding moodscapes. I put my head down, close my eyes, and just play. Reverb gives it such an ethereal feel. Add in a little shimmer and I'm in heaven.

The amount of Jonny Buckland and The Edge stuff that I play both are pretty essential. But if I had one it would be Reverb no doubt. Switching off reverb is like waking up from a dream where you were flying and realizing you're stuck to the ground. It's a glorious effect.

Reverb is the effect I use more often. It is great to be able to record with sounds of places that I would probably never have access to as easily.

I definitely prefer delay just because you can get reverb sounds as well. I prefer a more ‘alive’ reverb sound and feel like I can achieve that better with a delay, especially two :)

I use reverb far more than delay. A tiny bit of reverb is almost ALWAYS present. But delay is the secret sauce!

Delay. Delay becomes a part of my performance when tracking. My playing responses to the delay, and the delay in turn has an influence on my decisions. Having the ability to place reverb before delay is a wonderful effect, as the tails become enveloped in the delay taps. 😊

I used to think it was reverb, but the more I learned about delay, the more I realized it was actually delay I loved the sound of more. Specifically tape delay, and digital delay. That said, you can try to take my beloved VENTRIS from my cold dead hands

Always have some reverb on, usually a room for my guitar sounds to have some room ambiance and sound less direct. And then a plate when I want it to be a more noticable effect. But I must always have a Delay on my board and could live without a reverb. Thanks everyone at Source Audio! Love what you do

Delay for. Dual delay setup can get kinda reverb sounding (e.g. Andy Timmons). And the whole Gilmore type thing with 2 delays ping-ponging is just so much fun. Although i also love setting up the shimmer with freeze functions for some more ambient stuff.

Definitely use delay more. Reverb muddies up the sound to my ears, for some reason. Love that you can run two delays at once with the Collider. The reverbs on it are top-notch though, when I do want them.

Definitely reverb. Not usually a ton. Sometimes things legitimately sound a little dry. using reverb to fill that space and wetten the sound is amazing. I also think that it's cool that depending on the type of delay, it also can sound like reverb

I use reverb more, because it puts the sonic experience into a space for me, which dryness always lacks. It’s a default - in fact “dry” Is really more of an effect! Delay can clutter things up, although I like to use in extreme moderation at times which tends to avoid that pitfall.

I started playing back in high school I had a fender super reverb, loved the reverb on them old fender amps, when I was able to afford an echoplex, wow I could not live without it. If I had to pick only one, it would definitely have to be delay!

Since I play predominantly praise and worship music, I use both effects most of the time. But I have been learning how to use them to create textures where one is stronger than the other. Ambient delay with a light reverb or vice versa. It allows for so much additional textural versatility.

But if I have to choose one, it would be a Reverb - I need to have that ambience or sense of being in a space be it a small room or a big church or feel like playing through a spring reverb.... I, definitely, use both always on due to my style of guitaring. The reverb builds the room while the delay dances around bouncing from wall to wall. Unless, I want to really about that life and run a reverb into my delay to really mindf the situation. But, I realize now that both are always on(obviously, both are tame enough to play rhythm as needed).

80-90% of times I use reverb, the delay is already on (just adding more "room"). Occasionally, reverb alone for quiet sections (like clean arpeggios or chord progressions). BTW: oil can delay and very subtle plate reverb is one of my favorite combinations.
