after watching the first episode of this i decided to give it a go - My rules were that if i win, i pick a player, if i lose, then i use a random number picker to pick one of my team to transfer out. Nott Forest were bottom at xmas.... i, like you, ignored the cups for transfers in & out. i had a lovely run of games in January, beating Palace (Marc Guehi, tyvm) then Everton (Calvert-Lewin, niiiice!) and drawing with Spurs and Chelsea

This series is essentially the situation of how long does it takes to get the first shocker result Because as long as you get a player on 165-170+ you have an edge above all of the mid-table teams in at least a section of the field, and can use that as leverage to win games and get more players around the 150's
