Dan, I'm running out of beautiful words to say about your enormous talent. All your dragons are exquisite, but the last two dragons made for kid cancer are so much more breathtaking because of your serious dedication to the cruel word of cancer. Bravo!! So proud of you and your work! I hope someone is able to donate tons of money to this cause and win your dragon. I know I would if I could.

This one is one of the best you made, but you should make more of those big dragond with a body, and maybe experiment with shapes, styles and colors of dragons. hi its been a long time watching u. Really missing it. I notice that your a big fan of dragons and creatures that are unreal. Its also been a long time since u made anything yet. Really want u to upload another vid. I'm just suggesting but maybe u can do a creature called a "leviathan". If u don't know what it is a gigantic sea creature. So big and cool in my opinion. There many types u can choose from just search up search up leviathan. Look at a picture and you might like it. You don't have to do this. But I just love seeing ur videos. I really like to see ur hard work and all that stuff. By the way (again) keep up the good work!

Absolutely incredible Dan, the detail is amazing! I would like to ask how you color the teeth? I noticed that when you first roll the teeth and horns out of either the Fimo or Sculpty clay it is white, but after you bake them I see that they have an aged colored effect that appears yellowish brown graduated effect, please tell us how you achieve this. Thank You. :)
@Gourmetpapermache
@Gourmetpapermache 8 жыл бұрын
+Paul B (AnimalExplorer) Hi Paul. So you are Animal Explorer. Thanks for the kind remarks. In this case the way the teeth turned out was quite by accident. I used the "translucent" color of Fimo which usually turns somewhat brown. But I forgot they were in the oven and they got way over cooked. I thought they might be ruined but they seemed to be strong enough. I really liked the effect. I've tried to replicate the effect a couple of times without success. But the key is a little hotter and longer than the package suggests. Dan
@AnimalExplorer
@AnimalExplorer 8 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your time and explaining your process. That's funny I almost got the translucent FIMO today. I am working on an animal educational site for children but it is on the backburner for a little bit longer. I do wildlife photography so that is were the name came from. If your interested you can see some of my photos here: www.flickr.com/photos/25174003@N00/ you ever need a photographer let me know. I wouldn't mind photographing your incredible work. @Gourmetpapermache
@Gourmetpapermache 9 жыл бұрын
Kaylee Gaertner Thanks Kaylee. It can take a few weeks. I don't really know since I don't keep track. Never dry in the oven. It is dangerous. And it will only dry on the outside leaving the inside wet. Just find a warm spot with good air circulation and turn them over often exposing the wet areas. Still, it will take a few days to dry. Dan

Lysair88 Yes, I'm so sorry. The drawing is only offered in the US because of legal restrictions on this kind of charitable activity. But thank you for your support! You are a very nice person for trying. Dan

zombed9 I am sorry. The foundation would love your support, but the laws and regulations for charity drawings dictate that they contest remain in the US. Thank you for your thoughts though. Dan

KZbinMan11 Thank you. That channel was using my video illegally. They uploaded it without my permission and without giving me credit. I filed a complaint and Facebook removed it today. This happens a lot. Another Facebook page, Artfido did the same thing. They only added my site to the video after it had been seen over 5 million times. I'm considering filing a complaint there too. It's stealing content. I appreciate you letting me know. Dan
