Win With Only One Attack? - The Megaman Color Challenge! (SSB4) - FelixFaction

R.I.P. that Zero Suit Samus :'(
Lately I attempted to win 8 matches on fg using only attacks that match Megaman's 8 different skins in Smash 4. This was pretty tough, I actually had to include throws or else some of these would be near impossible! (metal blade) -__-
I understand some of the moves don't match perfectly with their counterparts from the original mm games (Ex. Spark shock/Thunder beam). This was done completely on purpose. My goal here was NOT to make something exactly accurate to the original games, but instead to make a interesting challenge anyone could try and have fun with. This is also why I excluded normal moves like d-tilt and u-tilt, if you could use those and others this challenge wouldn't be as interesting to watch. Hope this clears up any questions and thanks for watching!

Nope, it's not his slide; it's the Charge Kick from MM5 and counts as a boss weapon. (if I remember correctly) Also, throws shouldn't have counted either, because it's the Hyper Arm from MM1 and is also a boss weapon.

FelixFaction I have only one question, not to be perfectionist or anything and just because I wondered. Now I know that the grabbing animation of Mega man originates from Gutsman from MM1. Did you allow yourself to use it for ramping up damage on your enemies as well as not to make it hard on yourself? In Megaman 2, Doctor Light would give you "Items" throughout the course of the game. These Items were actually abilities that gave you platforms in various situations. Since Rush is the only real "Platform" in the smash, that was the only move that was viable. Hope I cleared things up.

His last color (black/yellow) is Top Spin though. Up smash is Spark Shock which turned Mega Man Pink/White. Red/Yellow is Flame Sword only. For default (stage one challenge!) you should be able to use pellets, fsmash, utilt, and dtilt. Red/White would be the same except no fsmash.

It'd be interesting to see the custom moves applied to this challenge too, though obviously some would be a little more OP than others. Hyper Bomb would go with Green+White, Shadow Blade doesn't have one (No pink skin) Ice Slasher would go with Blue+White, and Danger Wrap could go with the Red+White. Skull Barrier could go with Blue+White, Plant Barrier could go Red+White And even though you let Up Specials be universal it'd be interesting to be locked with Beat with the original colours and the closest thing to Tornado Hold would probably be the White+Blue. (Also, sorry if you're sick of all the perfectionists saying shit about getting the colours/weapons wrong, but as far as I know the only one that's off is the "Air Shooter" skin, which I think is actually supposed to be Ice Slasher. Air Shooter has a deeper blue, similar to Hard Knuckle. So you could possibly use both UAir and DAir, though DAir is a bit OP in it's own right.)
